On day 2 of the ongoing India's warm-up match against the Australia Prime Minister's XI in Canberra, Indian bowlers showcased remarkable performance to stop PM-XI to at the score of 240 runs.
The match, initially scheduled as a two-day fixture, was reduced to a 46-over contest after rain interruptions, but Indian bowlers were brilliant with the pink ball from the start. Earlier in the match, Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first, and his decision quickly paid off as Mohammed Siraj, in particular, put the Aussie openers under pressure early on.
While Australia lost early wickets, Sam Konstas played a gritty innings with a defiant 107 runs from 97 balls. He found a valuable partner in Jack Clayton, with the two combining for a solid third-wicket partnership.

But the PM-XI's middle order collapsed like pack of cards. At the end to stabilise the Australia's innings, Hanno Jacobs made valuable contribution and scored 61 runs off 60 balls. But in the 43rd over, Washington Sundar bowled a fuller delivery and took the crucial wicket of Jacobs. The Australian batter attempted to hammer the ball past mid-wicket, but the ball flew off the middle of his bat towards the Ravindra Jadeja.
Positioned at mid-wicket, Ravindra Jadeja sprinted to his right, leaped, and with remarkable agility, plucked the ball out of the air. With this stunning catch, the Australia Prime Minister's XI were bowled out for 240.
India's Impressive Bowling Display
India's bowling attack, led by Mohammed Siraj and supported by Harshit Rana, showed complete dominance. The bowlers adapted well to the pink ball and extracted enough swing and bounce to trouble the Australian batters consistently. At the time of writing, Indian openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul have started the second innings.
