Ravindra Jadeja has been a great servant of Indian cricket for more than a decade now and has constantly improved his game over the years. He has won India plenty of games across formats and once again displayed his class against South Africa at Eden Gardens with a brilliant five-wicket haul.

Ravindra Jadeja bowled 9 overs in his memorable spell and took a five-wicket haul which included big wickets of Bavuma, Klaasen and Miller. The final wicket was of Kagiso Rabada who was outfoxed by a beautiful flighted delivery and ended up giving a straightforward catch to Jadeja himself.

It was the 27th over of South Africa's innings and the Proteas were already eight down with just 79 on the board. Jadeja tossed it up nicely on off and Rabada tried to power it away but ended up hitting it off the bottom of his blade and straight to Jadeja, who take an easy catch.

South Africa were eventually cleaned up for 83 as India registered a big 243-run win sealing the number 1 spot on the points table. South Africa would be disappointed with this effort but they have already qualified for the semis and would be looking to make a strong comeback against Afghans in their next game.
