The outbound wicketkeeper-batsman shared a century-plus stand with captain Temba Bevuma before forming notable partnerships with fellow in-form batters Rassie van der Dussen and Aiden Markram.

While Quinton’s century engineered South Africa to put up a colossal 311-7 upfront, the cricketer sustained his lively vibe until the Australian run-chase in the evening. During the 18th over of the Australian innings, the dynamic glovesman flew down the leg side to assist Kagiso Rabada in packing vintage all-rounder Marcus Stoinis back to the pavilion.
