Northern Superchargers have started the important must-win game against London Spirit on a positive note by bagging early wickets after rain delayed the start of the game. One of the early wickets was of Daniel Lawrence, the skipper of London Spirit and it was off a short delivery by Matthew Potts and Nicholas Pooran behind the stumps took a fine catch as well.

The wicket of Lawrence came on the 20th ball of the match. It was a short delivery, angling around leg and the Spirit skipper tried to pull it. He only got the faint part of his blade and ended up hitting it left of Nicholas Pooran who took a sharp catch to deliver the second blow of the match to the visitors.
