Anuj Rawat Shows No Respect For Bhuvi At M. Chinnaswamy Stadium

He continued his good work even after the dismissal of Ayush Badoni (25 off 18). Rawat play a dazzling knock of 73 runs from 33 deliveries thrashing the UP bowlers to all parts of the ground. During his stay in the middle, the south-paw slammed seven fours and five maximums.

One particluar shot in Rawat's innings has caught the eye of the fans. The incident happened during the 17th over. On the first ball of the over, Bhuvi bowled a full delivery at the middle and leg stump line. Rawat spotted the line and length early and set himself up for a big shot. The southpaw then flicked the ball in the air over the square leg fence for a maximum. The shot looked like a semi-helicopter, a shot MS Dhoni is knwon for hitting.

Notably, in the latest auction of the IPL, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was recruited by RCB for INR 10.75 Cr. On the other hand, Anuj Rawat who has been a part of the RCB set up for the last couple of seasons was released ahead of the auction.
