Mujeeb Ur Rahman has been a star performer for Afghanistan for quite a few years now and his contributions have always been critical in the success of Afghanistan. In the ODI series against Pakistan in Sri Lanka, he is showing his class again with consistent performances in all three games. 

The Afghan picked three wickets in the first game and got a big wicket of Imam-ul-Haq in the second ODI to bring Afghans back in the game.  In the third ODI too, he has got rid of Shadab Khan with an absolute beauty, a typical Mujeeb delivery that knocked over Shadab Khan in style.

Mujeeb's Pace And Accuracy Too Good For Shadab Khan

It was a quick delivery from Mujeeb that pitched short of good length and came in with the angle towards middle and leg. Shadab Khan in his bid to score runs quickly made room and tried to punch it towards the off side. However, he got beaten by the pace of the delivery which was 102.3 kph and the ball knocked over the stumps.

It was the sixth wicket for Afghanistan as Pakistan lost their way after a 110-run third wicket stand between Babar Azam and Rizwan. Pakistan eventually managed to score 268 -9 at the end of their 50 overs courtesy some crucial runs from Nawaz and Agha Salman at the death.

Pakistan are leading the series 2-0 and would be eyeing a whitewash as Afghanistan try to chase down 269 to salvage some pride from this series.
