MS Dhoni dropped a tough chance on Sunday in Match 46 of IPL 2024 between CSK and SRH, taking place at MA Chidambaram Stadium. The 42-year-old was seen going through pain after his effort went in vain.

The incident happened during the 13th over of CSK's innings when Shardul Thakur came to bowl to Abdul Samad. On the fifth delivery, Thakur bowled a full delivery outside the off stump, which Samad went for a drive, only to get a edge behind.

Dhoni saw the opportunity, and dived forward, but failed to get his finger under the ball. Immediately after, he seemed to have too much pain, although the former CSK skipper was fine to carry on in order to keep behind the stumps.
