Veteran Indian batter Virat Kohli had a great start to his innings in Royal Challengers Bengaluru's ongoing IPL 2024 match against Chennai Super Kings at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. 

Opening the batting, Kohli took a particular liking for ace CSK speedster Tushar Deshpande, hammering him for two massive sixes in an over to get going. 

The incident occurred during the third over of RCB's innings when CSK were looking for an early breakthrough. However, giving the ball to Deshpande turned out disastrous for the visitors, with Kohli greeting him with a huge six over the square leg fence. 

As Deshpande bowled a short-of-good-length delivery, Kohli charged down the track to clobber him for a six that got the RCB fans going at their den.

Two balls later, the talismanic Indian batter once again dominated the right-arm pacer, sending his length ball disdainfully into the stands for another maximum. 

Deshpande's poor bowling didn't go well with ex-CSK captain MS Dhoni, who gave an angry stare to the bowler, asking him to pitch it up. 

Soon after the over concluded, rain came down heavily at the venue, halting the game for a brief time.
