The worst dream of all RCB and CSK fans took a small pause just after the start of the clash  between the two teams at Chinnaswamy as rain arrived in Bengaluru to halt the proceedings after an entertaining start. However, after a halt of nearly 40 minutes, both teams will re-enter to the field at 8:25 PM IST, without any overs lost.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and decided to bowl first on a ground that is known to be a good chasing ground and would have hoped for an early wicket. However, Virat Kohli looked in great touch right from the onset and along with Faf du Plessis, he took RCB to 31 at the end of three overs before stopped the proceedings on the field.

RCB need to win this game and win with a good margin while for CSK will qualify both with the win and a washout. They can still qualify if RCB do not go over their net run-rate even after the win and all cricket fans would be hoping that they get a full 40-over game.

Latest update - The covers are completely off now and the match will start at 8.25 PM IST and no overs have been lost as well.
