Injuries have been a constant part of Mohsin Khan's career and the same trend continued in the 54th match of IPL 2024 between LSG and KKR. Mohsin got hit on his head during the game when he dived full-length at point to catch Narine's uppish square cut. He did get his hand to the ball, but could not grab it and fell quite awkwardly on his head.

It was the third delivery of the 12th over and Narine was hitting it all over the park. On the previous delivery, he was given a lifeline when Padikkal took a catch but ended up crossing the boundary line in the process. 

The third ball was a short one outside off and Narine cut it fiercely. Mohsin Khan stationed at point did everything he could do with a brilliant dive, but ended up getting hit smashing his head on the ground and eventually had to be taken off the field for some treatment.

The fall was so impactful that KL Rahul, the LSG skipper also could not stop himself from feeling sad for his fielder. He was later ruled out of the game and Yudhvir Singh replaced him as a concussion substitute.

Before his injury, Mohsin Khan bowled two overs for 28 runs as Narine and Phil Salt took KKR off to a flier again.
