Mohammad Rizwan has been one of the most consistent batters in T20Is for Pakistan for quite some time now and was looking good in the first T20I against the Kiwis at Auckland as well. However, Tim Southee bowled a lovely slower delivery to outfox Rizwan as he went for a wild slog that went completely wrong.

Rizwan scored 25 off 14 balls but the target for Pakistan is a big one of 227 and they needed to keep going. Pakistan got off to a rapid start with Saim Ayub getting off to a flier, however, after his wicket, Pakistan kept going and in a bid to hit another one over the fence, Rizwan perished.

It was the third delivery of the 6th over and Southee bowled it on a good length, on off. However, he took the pace off and Rizwan unaware of it danced down the track to slog it over mid-wicket. He, however, got a big top edge that went high in the air and Conway did the rest by keeping his cool and taking a fine catch.

Kiwis posted a massive total of 226 in the first innings and at the time of writing, Pakistan are 107-3 in the 10th over.
