While Haris was dismissed by Yasir Khan, Hussain Talat extended the momentum to stitch a 90-odd runs partnership with Shoaib Malik. While Talat scored 51 off 36 balls, Malik contributed with 39 off 30 balls to lead Stallions to a competitive total of 162/5. Interestingly, the Stallions are leading the points table with 2 points, whereas the Lions are yet to open their points tally.

In the 2024 Pakistan Champions T20 Cup, Shoaib Malik was at his peak for the Stallions, defeating the Panthers by 35 runs at Rawalpindi. The 42-year-old Malik was excellent in the field as well, taking a sharp backward-running catch and another that helped Mohammad Ali to his three-wicket haul. At 42, the athleticism of Malik left fans awestruck as they praised Malik for his passion and commitment to the game.
