[Watch] Mitchell Starc Shocks England With Classic Wickets of Bairstow-Stokes

Mitchell Starc has been criticized in his career for his inconsistency, especially in Test cricket. However, whenever he gets it right, there are very few who can make as much of an impact as the talented left-armer can make. In the fourth day of the third Test match, with Australia's backs against the wall, Starc has produced a brilliant performance.

England are chasing a target of 251 to win the Test match and stay alive in the series. Australia needed to take wickets at regular intervals and Starc has done exactly that for his team. At the time of writing, Starc has picked four wickets with England struggling at 171-6.

Starc picked two wickets in the first session and with Australia in a desperate need of quick wickets after Lunch, Starc send back Stokes and Bairstow in successive overs to press a panic button in England's dressing room.

The wicket of Stokes was on a fullish delivery that was drifting down leg. Stokes tried to clip it but only managed to get a faint part of his blade back to the keeper. The wicket of Stokes brought Bairstow to the crease but the right-hander chopped one back onto his stumps as he tried to play an expansive drive away from his body. Those two wickets have kept Australia in the game and one more wicket can put England in a very tricky position.

Notably, Australia will take a 3-0 unassailable lead in this five-match Test series if they manage to clinch this game.
