The third and final ODI between India Women and West Indies Women is currently underway at the Reliance Stadium in Vadodara. Smriti Mandhana, who played a pivotal role in India's victory in the first two WODI's, failed to fire her bat in the dead-rubber match as she departed for a low-score.
Mandhana was dismissed for four runs in 19 balls where she managed to slam only one boundary. In the 6th over, Aaliyah Alleyne bowled a pitched up delivery around fifth stump which swung away from the batter. Mandhana leaned forward to drive it and hit it. She failed to clear the in-field. Munisar, who was stationed at the cover point, jumped in the air and took a one handed catch.
With this, Alleyne drew first blood for West Indies Women as Mandhana was forced to walk back.

IND-W vs WI-W 3rd ODI: What is happening?
West Indies' new ball bowlers have been on top, keeping the Indian batters under control. Deandra Dottin bowled with discipline, preventing Smriti Mandhana from getting going, while Aaliyah Alleyne struck early to dismiss the left-handed opener. Harleen Deol, the star centurion from the previous match, fell cheaply, adding to India's struggles.
A brief partnership between Harmanpreet Kaur and Pratika Rawal brought some stability, but Hayley Matthews struck in the final over of the powerplay, removing Rawal. With the Indian skipper, Harmanpreet, also falling soon after, the Women in Maroon now look to capitalize on the breakthroughs. India women are currently at 74/4 after 14 overs.
