Brisbane Heat are playing against the Sydney Thunder in the 25th match of the BBL 2024-25. This match is being played at the Gabba in Brisbane, Australia.

Brisbane Heat won the toss in the game and opted to field first. David Warner, the skipper of the Sydney Thunder laid the foundation of the innings with brilliant half-century. Besides Warner the other batters chipped in with small and effective cameos. At the end of their 20 overs, Thunder reached a total of 173/8.

The Brisbane Heat needed a good start to chase down the runs. A lot depended on their openers. However, Lockie Ferguson turned the tides towards the Thunder with wicket in the first over.

Lockie Ferguson Bowled A Dream Delivery In BBL 2024-25

On the fourth delivery of the over, Lockie Ferguson bowled a full delivery at the off stump line that tailed in a bit. Jack Wood tried to play a lofted drive over the mid-off fielder. However, he left a big gap between his bat and pad and the ball snuck in through the gap. The ball crashed into the off and middle stump and ended Wood's stay in the middle.


As Ferguson ignited the BBL with the brilliant delivery, the fans started reminiscing that the bowler was a part of the RCB team in the last edition of the IPL. Ahead of the IPL 2025 auction, RCB decided to release him. Seeing his rhythm and performance the franchise might not be happy about the selection choice they made.
