Bangladesh and West Indies are taking on each other in the 1st T20I of the three match series. This match is being played at the Arnos Vale Stadium in Kingstown, St. Vincent.

After a competitive Test series, West Indies completely dominated the ODIs and clean swept Bangladesh in the three match series. As the action shifts to the T20I series, West Indies will be looking maintain their domination. On the other hand, Bangladesh will be hoping for change of fortunes with the change in format.

However, so far, it seems that the table have not turned for the Asian team. West Indies batted first after winning the toss in this game. Bangladesh would have hoped for a good start from their top order to get going in the T20Is. However, that did not happen as Akeal Hosein showed his magic in the third over of the game.

Akeal Hosein Puts Bangladesh Under Pressure With Two Early Wickets

On the third delivery of the over, Hosein bowled a seam up delivery at the off and middle stump line. Tanzid Hasan pushed to his back foot and tried to pull the ball away. However, he did not make any connection and the balls crashed into the stumps ending Hasan's stay in the middle.

The fall of the wicket saw Litton Das, the acting captain of Bangladesh walk out in the middle. Being one of the most vital cogs in the Bangladesh batting line-up, the expectation was on him to dig the team out of the hole. However, Litton Day fell on the first delivery that he faced.

It was a full delivery at the off stump line that Litton tried to punch down the ground. However, he was early into the shot and as a result ended up playing it in the air and straight into the hands of the bowler.
