On the rank-turning track at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium where the home side Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and visitors Delhi Capitals (DC) are battling out for two crucial points, off-spinner Lalit Yadav did something unimaginable to send back veteran batter Ajinkya Rahane.
Lalit who was bowling the 12th over of the first innings, bowled a flight delivery and to counter which Rahane came down the track in hope of playing the shot down the ground but a one-handed stunner while diving to his right leaves everyone awestruck including the umpire Chris Gaffaney.
Rahane's innings came to end on the score of 21 after facing 20 balls where he struck two boundaries and left CSK in bit of bother as four wickets were down with just 77 on the board.
Earlier, CSK skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and choose to bat first on what he expects to be a turning wicket which would support spinners more in the second half.
The Mumbai-batter was replaced by right-hander Ambati Rayudu at the crease who will have a huge responsibility in his hands to take the score past 150.
By the time of writing, the Super Kings were 111 for four after the completion of 14 overs.
