At Lucknow, the Rohit Sharma-led Indian side is performing a dominating show against a wounded England lineup on Sunday. Despite a batting horror on a tricky Ekana pitch, the Indian bowlers have made life hell for the Englishman as they are crawling in the chase of 230 runs. 

Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah initiated the collapse for the Three Lions, sharing five of their eight wickets that have fallen so far. However, the combination of Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul pulled off a magical wicket as Chris Woakes was sent backing in the blink of an eye.

Watching the English bowling all-rounder dancing, Jadeja bowled a flighted delivery wide of the off-stump to sneak the ball past the batter's blade. Rahul - behind the stumps - did a stunt like MS Dhoni as he removed the stumps in a flash.

Earlier in the game, Rohit Sharma's 87 and Suryakumar Yadav's 49 secured India reach a fighting total on a tailored track of Lucknow. However, with runs on the board, the Indian bowlers took it at their chin to leave the English in deep waters. 

Shami and Bumrah have shared five wickets between them. Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav has snapped a brace of wickets, and Jadeja has one in his last column.  

As of writing, England have lost eight wickets in the chase of 230 runs, with 112 runs on the board. The Indians are just two scalps away from making it six wins off six matches in the World Cup 2023.
