Riding on Jasprit Bumrah's lethal first over, India got off to a flying start to day 2 of the ongoing Test match against South Africa in Cape Town. The ace speedster dismissed promising Proteas batter David Bedingham to wreak havoc in the hosts camp. 

Bowling the first over of the day, Bumrah conceded a boundary off his second delivery, with Bedingham adding four priceless runs to South Africa's tally. However, the experienced pacer rectified it instantly, dismissing the batter with a beautiful delivery. 

After troubling Bedingham with his nagging accuracy, Bumrah pitched it slightly fuller, inviting Bedingham for a drive. 

The batter fell in the trap, as he edged the ball while playing a half-hearted drive. Indian keeper KL Rahul did no mistake, as he held onto the catch with utmost ease. 

Bedingham, who slammed a flamboyant fifty in Centurion Test, thus recorded his second consecutive failure in this game. To those unversed, the right-handed batter could score only 12 runs in the first innings. 

After Bedingham's departure, keeper-batter Kyle Verrynne joined the middle to steady the ship alongside Aiden Markram. As of writing, the hosts are 75 for four, trailing by 23 runs with six wickets in hand.
