West Indies and Bangladesh are engaged in an intense clash in the third T20I of the three match series. The game is taking place at the Arnos Vale Stadium in Kingstown, West Indies. Although the series has been decided with Bangladesh winning the first two games, the two teams are giving their best in this match to have the last smile in this multi-format series.

In this game, Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first. Litton Das and Parvez Hossain Emon gave the team a blazing start with positive intent from the beginning of their innings. However, soon West Indies made a comeback into the game with some quick wickets.

Jaker Ali Turns Things Around For Bangladesh

At one stage, Bangladesh were struggling at 114/6 in the 15th over. It looked like Bangladesh would not be able to post a formidable total on the board. However, Jaker Ali turned the tables around for the visitors. He played a brilliant knock of unbeaten 72 runs from just 41 deliveries.

Jaker Ali's knock was full off some brilliant T20I batting. He hit the ball to all parts of the ground and completely changed the complexion of the match. However, his innings was eventful not only in case of cricketing action.

First Ali showed great sportsman spirit when he denied a run after Obed McCoy was injured in the outfield. Later Ali was seen venting out his frustration after a bizarre mix-up with Shamim Hossain. However, things turned out in his favour as he was called back even after being declared out.

Jaker Ali Comes Back From The Dugout To Take Bangladesh To Safety

On the third delivery of the 15th over, Chase bowled a flatter delivery around the off stump. Jaker Ali knocked the ball to the onside with soft hands and set off for a quick couple of runs. While Ali returned for the second run, Shamim was caught ball watching. This resulted in the two batters being at the same end and an easy run out for West Indies.

At first instance it looked like Jaker Ali was the man who has been dismissed. The batter was frustrated with the turn of events. He was seen abusing and really unhappy with whatever transpired in the middle. However, repeated replays revealed that Ali had indeed made it home while Shamim's bat was still in the air. Jaker Ali was called back from the dug out and was given another chance to bat.
