West Indies are playing against Bangladesh in the third and final T20I of the series at the Arnos Vale Stadium in Kingstown, West Indies. Bangladesh have already sealed the series by winning the first two matches and hence this game is of not much significance to the overall outcome. However, the two teams are fighting it out to the best of their abilities in this game.
Bangladesh won the toss in the game and opted to bat first. The two openers of the team, Litton Das and Parvez Hossain Emon gave them a blazing start as they looked positive from the start of the innings. However, a couple of wickets fell quickly and the game changed momentum.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz Throws Away His Wicket After A Good Start
After the quick couple of wickets, the responsibility was on Mehidy Hasan Miraz to take them to a formidable total. However, Miraz threw away his wicket even after getting set. He played a good knock of 29 runs from 23 deliveries and looked settled in the middle.
However, in the fifth ball of the 13th over, Miraz decided to take on Roston Chance. The boundaries were not coming for long and the Bangladeshi all-rounder decided to turn things around. It was a full ball at the off stump line and Miraz went down on one knee to play the slog sweep. However, the connection was not right for the batter and he got a top edge to be taken in the deep by Justin Greaves.
Miraz looked visibly frustrated after being dismissed. The reason behind his frustration was soon found out as Bangladesh lost the plot after this. They kept losing wickets after Miraz's demise and lost the plot completely.
