Indian bowling attack has been on a rampage throughout World Cup 2023. This was proven once again during the all-important clash against South Africa at the Eden Gardens.

Chasing a tricky 327, South Africa needed a solid start from their openers. However, that wasn't the case as Mohammed Siraj started the carnage with the crucial wicket of Quinton de Kock. For some reason, South Africa went into a shell and that back-fired as the Indian bowlers ran riot.

Wickets tumbled at regular intervals, and one of the chief destroyers with the ball was Ravindra Jadeja. The Indian spinner bowled at lines and lengths and consistently troubled the Proteas batters, who were tentative against the spin.

He bowled a pearler to get rid off Keshav Maharaj as the Indian side was all over the famed South African batting lineup.

The incident occurred in the 19th over when Jadeja bowled an inch-perfect off-break, that pitched on the middle stump and drifted away to knock over the off-stump. Maharaj looked shell-shocked as he didn't expect the ball to turn so much.

Talking about the contest, India are all over the opposition, with the Proteas 7 down at the moment for a score of 70.
