Prior to the start of the Asia Cup match, a picture went viral online that shocked everyone. After winning the toss, Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam exchanged their team sheets, and there, in India’s playing XI, Virat Kohli was listed as the No. 4 batsman for India, behind Ishan Kishan.

There have been many discussions about whether Kohli should give up his preferred No. 3 spot for India, who will be playing without KL Rahul for the first two games. Many people recommended Kohli should come in at No. 4 to stabilize the innings because even Shreyas Iyer will be making a comeback after a long-term injury.
However, Kohli was seen as No. 3 in BCCI's team list which they shared on social media. Even when the openers were in the middle, the talismanic batter was all padded up in the dressing room to come next.
