Known for one of the quickest fast bowlers around the world, Haris Rauf displayed his batting skills on Friday (October 6) during Pakistan's World Cup 2023 fixture against the Netherlands at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. The 29-year-old smacked Colin Ackermann for a flamboyant six to leave the viewers all around the globe in awe.

It was a tossed up delivery by Ackermann, who came to bowl the 49th over of Pakistan's innings. Rauf swung across the line, and played a big slog in an attempt to send it way past the deep mid-wicket.

However, the timing was not too perfect, yet was enough to clear the ropes for a six. The maximum was much needed for the Men in Green, as they lost nine wickets throughout the innings until Rauf's blow.

Nevertheless, Haris lost his wicket in the following delivery from Ackermann, as Pakistan closed on 286 with an over to spare.

For Pakistan, Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel both made 68 each after they lost three key wickets within the first 10 overs. Neither Imam-ul-Haq, Fakhar Zaman, and Babar Azam failed to make much impact against a spirited Dutch attack, led by Bas de Leede (4/62).
