The 4th match of the ICC World Cup 2023 will be played between South Africa and Sri Lanka on Saturday, October 7, at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

South Africa's first warm-up match against Afghanistan was cancelled due to unfavourable weather, and they faced a narrow 7-run defeat against New Zealand in their second practice game. However, their team appears strong with in-form players like Quinton de Kock, Heinrich Klaasen, and David Miller.

Even though they lost their pace spearhead Anrich Nortje ahead of the marquee event, their bowling attack appears strong with Lungi Ngidi, Kagiso Rabada, Gerald Coetzee, and Marco Jansen. They will be looking to start off their tournament campaign with a bang.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka did not fare well in their warm-up matches, losing both. Their first match against Bangladesh saw them defeated by seven wickets, and their second match against Afghanistan ended with a six-wicket loss. They will be eager to make a strong comeback and start their World Cup journey with a win.

Before heading into this game, let's take a look at the weather report of Delhi, where the upcoming match between South Africa and Sri Lanka is scheduled to be played:
