Pakistan speedster Haris Rauf aggressively yelled out at wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan after the latter’s misfield costed their side an extra run against England at the 2023 World Cup. The incident occurred during the 47th over of the English innings when Rauf was tasked to deliver his final spell.
Midway into the over, England’s Harry Brook pushed the speedster towards cover for an easy single, before Rizwan’s fumble behind the stumps to a throw from Shaheen Afridi granted an additional run to the batting side.

Haris Rauf yelled out his frustration at senior Pakistan teammate Mohammad Rizwan after the latter’s misfield cost their side an additional run during the death overs of the English innings in Kolkata.
Rizwan failed to collect a throw behind the stumps, which allowed Harry Brook and Jos Buttler to complete a second run in the third delivery of the 47th over.
Haris Rauf eventually dismissed Brook the very next delivery, and cleaned up Moeen Ali the following over as the speedster finished his spell with figures of 3-64. His pace mates Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Wasim also struck twice each in their spells, albeit expensively as England ended up amassing 337-9 from their 50 overs.
