Maxwell gone for two-ball duck vs Mayank (X.com)
Mayank Yadav announced his arrival a few days back by tearing apart Punjab Kings bowlers in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. The 21-year-old kept on doing wonderful things on Tuesday as well during LSG’s IPL 2024 clash against RCB at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
It was a 151 kph delivery by Mayank, and Maxwell, batting on 0 off 2 deliveries, went for a pull after watching the ball was short. However, the pace was too much for the hard-hitting Australian all-rounder, as the ball could only go to mid-on, where Nicholas Pooran was fielding.
It was a simple catch for the West Indian, and with that, Maxwell’s struggles with bat continued in the competition.

Notably, Mayank took another wicket in his following over, and the victim was no other than another swashbuckling Australian all-rounder, Cameron Green.
RCB, after coming to chase a 192-run target, are not in a great position at the time of writing this. The Faf du Plessis-led side are batting on 63/4 after 10 overs, needing 119 more runs off the last 60 balls to complete a miraculous task.
