India's wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson had a forgettable outing in the fourth T20I against England at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on January 31. Not only did he struggle with the bat, scoring just one run, but he also dropped an easy catch during England’s innings, leaving head coach Gautam Gambhir visibly frustrated.

In the 19th over of England’s innings, Harshit Rana bowled a delivery that led to a top-edge from Jamie Overton. The ball went high in the air towards fine leg, where both Sanju Samson and Varun Chakaravarthy ran for the catch.

Unfortunately, Samson couldn’t hold onto it, causing a moment of disappointment for the Indian camp. The camera captured Gambhir’s frustration as he put his hand on his face, clearly unhappy with the missed opportunity.

India beat England By 15 Runs To Win Series 3-1

Despite the dropped catch, India put on a dominant performance to seal the five-match series with a 3-1 lead. England, after getting off to a strong start, collapsed under pressure yet again. The Men in Blue made a fantastic comeback, bundling England out for 166 and securing the win with a game to spare.
