MS Dhoni Stumps Phil Salt In A Flash, Makes Fans Nostalgic
The incident occurred during the fifth over of RCB's innings when CSK were searching for their first breakthrough amid Phil Salt's fireworks. CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad's decision to bring Noor Ahmad for an over weaved magic, as the in-form spinner got rid of the in-form Salt.
From over the wicket, Noor tossed the ball up, inviting Phil Salt to go aerial over the off-side field. As the batter went for an expansive lofted shot, the ball beat him on his outside edge, with MS Dhoni collecting the ball behind the stumps.
Before Salt could bring his back foot back into the crease, Dhoni dislodged the bails in the blink of an eye, sending the English batter back to the dugout.
Earlier, Dhoni executed a similar stumping to dismiss Suryakumar Yadav in CSK's previous encounter against Mumbai Indians.
