The Chennai Super Kings and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru are two of the fanatically followed franchises in the Indian Premier League. Whenever the two teams face each other in the tournament, the atmosphere gets charged with palpable tension and excitement. 

The war between the two fan bases heightens each time the red and the yello army go against each other. Another such instance was seen during the ongoing IPL 2025 match between the two teams.

The CSK fans walked out with fake Lollipops. The motto for the day at Chepauk, the fortress of the Chennai Super Kings is - 'Ee Sala Cup Lollipopu..'. This is mockery of the warcry of RCB fans - 'Ee Sala Cup Namde'. This literally means, 'This year the cup is ours'.

Although the RCB fans have waited 17 years for the coveted IPL trophy, the franchise has not yet given them the happiness of winning getting the title. The RCB fan base has often been the center of jokes from the other franchises due to the expectation they have each year. 

The new trend will add to the fire and make things more spicy for the ongoing clash. Notably, the red army has not lost a match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium since 2008. However, the team under the leadershiop of their captain, Rajat Patidar will try and break the jinx and register their first win at the venue in 17 years.
