In the ongoing first match of the Tri-Nation Series between Pakistan and New Zealand at the Gaddafi Stadium, Fakhar Zaman showcased his prowess, played some aggressive shots and gave Pakistan a much-needed start.
One shot that caught the attention was played by Fakhar Zaman in the 8th over of the second innings. He faced faced a short-pitched ball from William O'Rourke. The Pakistan star batter knew that it was an opportunity to showcase his skill and Fakhar Zaman executed a masterful, sending it over deep backward square leg for a massive six.

The shot not only showcased his exceptional batting prowess but also ignited the passionate home crowd. The stadium erupted as the ball sailed into the stands, with fans leaping from their seats, waving flags, and chanting in unison. It is important to mention that, Fakhar Zaman has already completed his half-century.
Michael Bracewell provided the much-needed break for New Zealand and took the wicket of Babar Azam. It was highly expected that Babar will make an impact in the first ODI but he failed and left his fan in disappointment.
Earlier in the match, New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat, and posted a formidable total with significant contribution by Glenn Phillips' unbeaten 106 off 74 balls. Pakistan's bowlers struggled in the death overs, conceding 84 runs in the final five. At the time of writing, Pakistan are at 94 runs at the loss of one wicket. Fakhar Zaman and Kamran Ghulam are at the crease and have already taken the control and dominated the Kiwi bowlers.
