Fakhar Zaman has been in good form recently in the Champions T20 Cup, resurrecting himself from the ashes of his slump. The Pakistan star played a massive inning against the Lions in the Qualifier match as he stitched a stellar 89 runs off 64 balls.

However, despite the match getting rained with boundaries and sixes, it was one of Zaman's towering sixes that left the Lions, as well as the bowler, Afaq Afridi, in awe.

Zaman Dispatches Afaq's Delivery To The Sky!

Coming in to open for the Markhors, Fakhar Zaman's inning has been nothing short of a stellar series of spectacular shots and sky-high sixes. Despite his fiery form adorned with frequent sixes and boundaries, the Pak veteran came in for an audacious blow when he was nearing his half-century.

In the first ball of the 12th over, Afaq Afridi of the Lions pitched a back-of-a-length delivery angling across outside the off-stump. Fakhar Zaman shifts across and picks up the delivery to slog it over the forward square leg fence.

The sky-soaring six left the audience as well as the opposition team in awe as it sailed in the air for a good '6' seconds. Zaman's inning was garnered with five sixes and 9 staggering boundaries as he was dismissed by Shahid Aziz in the third ball of the 20th over.

As the high-stake match of Qualifier 1 continues to take shape, for the unversed, the Lions won the toss and chose to bowl. Zaman, as already elaborated, obliterated the Lions with his knock. Though the middle order of the Markhors failed to fire up, thanks to Afaq Afridi and Shahab Khan, a late quickfire from Muhammad Abdul Samad (41 off 20) helped the Markhors put up a total of 180 runs on the board.
