[Watch] Eden Gardens 'Roars' As Taskin & Shakib Al Hasan Give Bangladesh Perfect Start

Eden Gardens hosted its first-ever match in the World Cup 2023 on Saturday (October 28) when Bangladesh and the Netherlands went up against each other. Unsurprisingly, the support was absolutely electric for the Tigers, and soon after, the star duo of Taskin Ahmed and Shakib Al Hasan combined to allow them go berserk.

In his comeback game, Taskin bowled a slightly fullish delivery to Vikramjit Singh during the second over of the game. The left-handed opener closed the bat face early, and thus, he ended up getting a leading edge.

Shakib Al Hasan was placed right there, at mid-off, and took a simple catch to end Vikramjit’s stay after a struggling nine-ball three.

Bangladesh was given full support at Eden Gardens, with Vikramjit's wicket evoking excitement.
