Dilpreet Bajwa had a terrible outing in the 13th match of the T20 World Cup 2024 against Ireland at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on June 7.

The Canadian all-rounder, known for his prowess with both bat and ball, faced a tough challenge against the Irish bowling attack.

Bajwa's struggle became apparent in the 9th over of the match when Ireland's Gareth Delany took charge of the ball. With Ireland opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Delany's delivery caught Bajwa off guard. 

The ball pitched perfectly, tempting Bajwa to go for a powerful shot. However, the outcome was far from what he anticipated.

In a moment of disappointment for Bajwa and his team, Delany executed a stunning Cotton Ball dismissal. The ball, a leg break on the shorter side, deceived Bajwa, causing him to chop it straight back to the bowler. Delany's lightning-fast reflexes ensured he snatched the catch with one hand, leaving Bajwa astonished at his misfortune.

The dismissal further added to Canada's woes, as they found themselves struggling at 128 for 5 in the penultimate over. 

For Bajwa, it was a forgettable outing, as his contribution of just 7 runs off 9 balls failed to make a significant impact on the match.
