Chennai Super Kings pacer, Mukesh Choudhary bowled the delivery of the tournament in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy to castle the stumps during the clash between Punjab and Maharashtra. The left-arm seamer bowled an impossible ball to play to stun the Punjab batter.
In the early burst during Punjab's batting, the ball was doing enough to keep the pacers interested and Mukesh made full use of the opportunity. Punjab were off to a decent start as the opening stand added quickfire 26 runs, as their opener, Prabhsimran Singh looked in ominous touch.
However, Prabhsimran's stay was short-lived as Mukesh bowled a beautiful out-swinger which reminded fans of Australia's Mitchell Starc. He pitched the ball on the middle stump as it nipped away sharply to shatter the stumps. The Punjab batter looked clueless as he failed to get a bat on it. The delivery could also be termed as "ball of the tournament."
The ball was a tribute to Starc's skills and how the Aussie pacer destroys batting at the international level.

Mukesh Choudhary was the star with the ball as the pacer not only scalped the big wicket of Prabhsimran Singh, but also dismissed the dangerous Abhishek Sharma.
The SRH batter looked decent at 19 off 16 before the CSK bowler showed his class and got his crucial wicket. He wasn't done yet as the wily pacer got his third wicket of the day and took the wicket of Nehal Wadhera as the Punjab side crumbled inside the first 10-overs.
With this performance, he has staked his claim to be CSK's number one pacer in the side ahead of the IPL 2025.
