Australia’s T20 heavyweight Chris Lynn clobbered 83 unbeaten runs from just 42 balls against Melbourne Stars in match number 20 of the ongoing BBL 2023-24 season. Turning up for Adelaide Strikers in their must-win home game at the Adelaide Oval, the cricketer belted 10 boundaries and four scorching sixes as the hosts blitzed their way to a highly-competitive 205-run first innings total.

Remarkably, one of Lynn’s four towering sixes landed 104 metres over deep square leg as the cricketer signaled his aggressive intent early in his innings.

Australia’s T20 batting barbarian Chris Lynn, after arriving to the crease in just the sixth over of the Adelaide Strikers innings, faced five deliveries before unleashing a 104-metre monster hit at the Adelaide Oval against Melbourne Stars.

Chris Lynn belted two more boundaries in the remaining three deliveries off Joel Paris’ over, and crashed Marcus Stoinis with two fours and two sixes in the space of five balls later in the innings.

Lynn eventually bolted his way to a 42-ball 83* to charge up Adelaide Strikers’ total to 205-4 by the end of their 20 overs. The innings marked his second successive half-century of the tournament, considering he had also bashed a 34-ball 56 against Melbourne Renegades at the Docklands Stadium earlier in the week.
