Chris Lynn has been one of the fearsome hitters of the cricket ball for more than a decade now, and is still going strong in the Big Bash League. In the 20th match of the 2023-24 season between Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Stars, Chris Lynn is again showing his power with some mighty hits into the crowd.
Chris Lynn walked out to bat at number 3 after D Arcy Short departed in the 6th over and stitched together a counter-attacking stand with Matthew Short. He got to his fifty in just 21 balls which included flurry of boundaries.
One of his massive sixes was against Marcus Stoinis, the Aussie star all-rounder. It was the 11th over and Lynn went berserk with two back-to-back fours on first two balls. On the third delivery Stoinis pitched it short again, the ball climbed up at a nice height for Lynn to unleash and he muscled it way over long on for a maximum.
Lynn looked in vintage touch and smashed another one over the fence on the fifth delivery, making it a 20-run over. He continued his fireworks after the dismissal of Matthew Short and scored 83 off 42 balls. His knock took Adelaide Strikers to a massive total of 205 against a star-studded Melbourne Stars unit.
