In the second ODI between Bangladesh and West Indies at Warner Park on December 10, Brandon King put on a show with some aggressive batting. He tore into the Bangladesh bowlers, and one moment that stood out was when he smashed Tanzim Hasan Sakib for a massive six.

Bangladesh posted a target of 228 after being bowled out for 227 in 45.5 overs. Hosts began their chase with Brandon King and Evin Lewis opening the innings. In the 25th over, when Sakib came to bowl, King made his intentions clear. On the very first delivery, he launched a massive 92-meter six. The ball was slightly overpitched, and King stepped down the track to smash it straight over the bowler's head for a maximum.

King’s brilliant knock continued as he scored a gritty 82 runs off 76 balls, hitting eight fours and three sixes. Unfortunately, he was bowled out by a brilliant delivery from Nahid Rana, who dismissed King with extra pace.

Shai Hope Guides West Indies To a 7-Wicket Win

West Indies, though, were in full control. They chased down Bangladesh’s total comfortably, winning by 7 wickets with 79 balls to spare, and securing the series with a game still to play. Bangladesh had been put in to bat by West Indies captain Shai Hope. After an early flurry from Tanzid Hasan, Jayden Seales turned the game in West Indies' favour with three quick wickets in the first 10 overs.

However, Mahmudullah and Sakib steadied the ship with a solid 92-run partnership for the 8th wicket. Sakib was dismissed for 45 off 62 balls, and Mahmudullah followed soon after. Despite a late cameo from Shoriful Islam, who made 15 off 8 balls, Bangladesh were all out for 227. Seales was the star bowler, finishing with figures of 4/22 from 10 overs.

In reply, West Indies opening pair of King and Lewis started cautiously but built a solid 109-run partnership. Though Lewis was dismissed for 49, West Indies were in control. Keacy Carty and King added another 66 runs for the second wicket before King fell. Carty was then dismissed for 45, but Sherfane Rutherford and captain Shai Hope guided West Indies to win.
