Ben McDermott smashed a 98-metre six that landed outside the Chinnaswamy stadium and into the parking lot.

The Aussie batter always had the power-game in his bag, but he unleashed it today against Avesh Khan and hammered him for a mighty six that landed outside the stadium.

The incident occurred in the 4th over when the Australian right-handed batter charged down the track to take on Avesh. The Indian seam bowler did everything right as he banged in short and angled it into the body of the batter.

However, McDermott got a top-edge on his attempted pull shot and the connection was so good that it went a million miles in the air and out of the stadium. Interestingly, even McDermott looked shocked and couldn't believed the timing he got into the shot.

Talking about the contest, India posted a decent 160-8 on the board. The Indian wickets fell like a pack of cards, but Shreyas Iyer stood firm as he notched up a valiant fifty to take his side to the 160-run mark.

In reply, Australia have already lost three wickets in the form of Josh Philippe and Travis Head, and Aaron Hardie. They still need 106 runs to win the contest.
