[Watch] Babar Azam's Animated Exchange With Rizwan Steals Spotlight in BPL 2024

Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam and wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan entertained fans with a light-hearted exchange during the Rangpur Riders vs Comilla Victorians match in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024. 

It all happened during the second innings when Babar Azam approached Mohammad Rizwan, and they were seen playfully bantering with Azam hilariously ribbing Rizwan, who couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Here, it’s worth mentioning that Rizwan and Babar share a close friendship, often seen enjoying each other's company. They formed a prolific opening pair for Pakistan in T20Is until the arrival of Saim Ayub prompted Babar Azam to shift to the number three position.

Speaking of the game, Babar Azam smashed out a solid 37 off 36 balls, helping Rangpur Riders put up a decent 165 on the scoreboard with five wickets down. Azmatullah Omarzai, Fazle Mahmud, and Captain Nurul Hasan also did their bit with the bat. 

Comilla Victorians, led by the strong performances of Mahidul Islam Ankon and Towhid Hridoy, along with efforts from Jaker Ali, fell just eight runs short of the target in their reply. Mohammas Rizwan could only manage 17 runs from 21 balls.
