Riding on bowlers' incredible performance, Afghanistan have powered themselves to the driving seat in the ongoing World Cup clash against Australia in Mumbai. After Naveen-ul-Haq got rid of Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh, promising all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai dismissed David Warner to bring Australia down on the mat.

Chasing a steep 292-run target, Australia had a disastrous start to their innings, as Naveen-ul-Haq dismissed Travis Head for a two-ball duck.

Although Mitchell Marsh and Warner struck a few boundaries, the Afghans bounced back in style, dismissing both in quick succession. While Marsh was trapped plumb in front of the stumps by Naveen, Omarzai castled Warner to push Australia on the back foot.

Coming around the wicket, Omarzai delivered an in-swinger, that jagged back sharply into Warner. The explosive southpaw went for an expansive slog only to get beaten all ends up and losing his off stump.

Keeper-batter Josh Inglis followed Warner, as Omarzai dismissed him on the very next ball to wreak havoc in the Australian camp. After Inglis' departure, Glenn Maxwell joined the middle to steady the ship alongside Marnus Labuschagne.

As of writing, Australia are reeling at 52 for four in 10.3 overs, with Maxwell and Labuschagne batting on 2* and 6*, respectively.
