Axar Patel never fails to amaze with his batting prowess, fielding, or bowling. In the T20 World Cup 2024 semifinal against England at Providence Stadium in Guyana, Patel once again showcased his skills. 

Invited to bat first, India saw wickets falling early, but Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav brought the team to a formidable score. Enter Axar Patel, whose brief but impactful stint at the crease left a lasting impression.

The highlight of Patel's performance came in the final over of India's innings. Facing the experienced Chris Jordan, Patel delivered a massive six that thrilled the spectators. It was Jordan to Axar, a short delivery that Patel picked perfectly.

Despite one hand slipping off the grip, the ball sailed over wide long-on, showcasing Patel's immense power and timing.

However, Patel's cameo was cut short as Jordan struck back on the very next ball, removing him from the crease. This added to Jordan's tally, having already dismissed Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube earlier in the innings. 

India eventually posted a commendable target of 172 for England.
