[Watch] Akash Madhwal Rattle LSG With Two Wickets in Two Balls

With the match getting intense after every delivery, Mumbai Indians (MI) made a solid comeback against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) courtesy of pacer Akash Madhwal who struck twice on two deliveries during the 10th over, giving his side the advantage. The wicket was getting slower and tougher for batting which helped MI take the lead.
Madhwal who was bowling his second over, came and dismissed Ayush Badoni with a jaffa of a delivery that took his off-stump on the way whereas incoming batter Nicholas Pooran couldn't do much on an out-swinging delivery that found his edge while going towards the keeper.
These two wickets left a major dent on the LSG hopes as they were never able to recover from it since they were 75 for the loss of five wickets, chasing 183 for victory in a do-or-die match.
Following this, a couple of run-outs that happened out of nowhere which just finished LSG's hopes as Marcus Stoinis and Deepak Hooda both lost their wickets at the wrong time.
Eventually, LSG were bundled out for a paltry 101 as MI triumphed by a margin of 81 runs entering the Qualifier 2 to be played against Gujarat Titans (GT).
