Known as the moving day in a Test, Day 3 of the ongoing first match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan at Galle had the hosts frustrated and on the back foot all through the day.

Saud Shakeel along with Agha Salman pulled the game in Pakistan's favour after their mammoth 177-run stand, following which the former went on to score a double-ton. Shakeel remained unbeaten on 208 off 361 balls, as Pakistan got bundled out for 461, gaining a 149-run first-innings lead over hosts Sri Lanka.

Despite being in the field all day long, Lankan wicket-keeper Sadeera Samarawickrama found time to have fun with spinner Abrar Ahmed, who looked in attacking form.

The incident happened in the 120th over, when a Ramesh Mendis bowled ball turned square and caught the glove of Ahmed, and got pocketed between the batter's knee and pad.

Samarawickrama all alert, tried to grab the ball, but Ahmed ensured the catch did not happen, as he went out of the crease and dropped the ball on the ground, before scampering back to safety.

Everyone including Sri Lankan players laughed, including Pakistan captain Babar Azam, who was seated in the visitor's dressing room balcony.

Here's the VIDEO

Ahmed was the final wicket to fall for Pakistan, scoring an entertaining 12-ball 10, laced with a six and a solitary four, helping Mendis claim a well-deserved fifer.

Sri Lanka are 14 for 0, with captain Dimuth Karunaratne (6*) and Nishan Madushka (8*) batting in the middle at stumps on Day 3, trailing Pakistan by 135 runs.
