Pakistan speedster Aamer Jamal tricked Marnus Labuschagne with a unique no-ball when the two cricketers crossed paths on Day 2 of the third Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).

Jamal, who had picked up the wicket of Australian opener Usman Khawaja, started off his next over without a ball in his hand. The cricketer completed his run-up only to stop at his bowling crease in order to search for the ball.

Aamer Jamal eventually concluded his over to Marnus Labuschagne with a maiden, with itself turned out to be the penultimate over of the day owing to bad light.

Earlier in the match, Pakistan batters piled up 313 in their first innings after visiting skipper Shan Masood had won the toss and opted to bat first. Mohammad Rizwan top-scored in the innings with an attacking 88 from 103 balls, while Jamal clubbed 97-ball 82 and defied Australia’s charged-up attack with a frustrating 86-run partnership for the final wicket with number 11 Mir Hamza.

The following day, Australia reached 116 at the expense of both their openers before bad light called for an early stumps. The hosts will resume their first innings on Day 3 trailing Pakistan by another 197 runs, with Labuschagne (23*) and Steve Smith (6*) still batting at the crease.
