Glenn Maxwell has been an enigma over the years. There are few batters in world cricket who can match his power-hitting, something which was quite evident in the 2023 World Cup as well. Maxwell though even after winning the World Cup seems hungry for more runs and wins, as he has played another special knock, that will go down in Aussie folklore as the man hammered 104* off 48 balls to pull off incredible heist for Australia.

Australia needed 16 off last four balls and Prasidh Krishna was the bowler for India against a belligerent Glenn Maxwell. The first one was a brilliant six over extra cover and it was followed by two consecutive boundaries as well, the second one taking him to his fourth T20I hundred. Now, with four runs needed to win off the final ball, the pressure was on Prasidh Krishna and he ended up bowling in slot again. Glenn Maxwell as usual stayed deep in his crease and without any fuss slammed it down the ground for a boundary.

The five-wicket victory kept Australia in the series with scoreline reading 2-1 in India's favour and we can expect a cracking game when the two teams go head-to-head against each other at Raipur on 1st of December.
