Jofra Archer is finally moving towards his best and is looking fit after missing out on some major action in the last few years. He has picked wickets at regular intervals in The Hundred 2024 and in the final of the season against Oval Invincibles, he again took two crucial wickets of Dawid Malan and Tom Curran to help his team's cause.

The wicket was Tom Curran was taken on the 90th ball of the match and it eventually made a difference of atleast 10 runs to the final score. On the previous delivery, Curran had hit Archer for a six. It was quite an outrageous six over deep extra cover in an unorthodox fashion that would have hurt Archer's ego. 

The pacer though came back strongly on the next ball and bowled a pacy 90 MPH bouncer angling into Tom Curran. He went for the pull shot, but got a big top edge which was taken James Coles at deep mid-wicket with a brilliant dive.

Oval Invincibles eventually managed to score 147 on the board which is a pretty solid score with the pressure of the final likely to help their cause in the run-chase. Southern Brave though have quality in their batting ranks and it promises to be a cracking finish to The Hundred 2024.
