It was a phenomenal victory for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) when they defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by just 7 runs in the final over after posting 189 on the scoreboard courtesy of half-centuries from Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell. The match was getting really intense but some extremely good bowling from Harshal Patel and David Willey helped them get past the line.

After the game, stand-in skipper Virat Kohli was confident about his side going ahead and along with it revealed their premium pacer Josh Hazlewood's health status.

Kohli mentioned that Hazlewood will be available for the next game which means they would be playing a different bowling attack as compared to this one.

Adding to this, he was full of praise for Mohammed Siraj and Harshal Patel as they have done extremely well with the ball with the former taking wickets with the new ball while the latter has been doing a decent job with the old ball.

"Siraj's wicket of Buttler was phenomenal, he is bowling as well as I've seen over, he is leading our attack until Josh comes in next game and he has been doing a tremendous job, I'm really happy with him. Harshal bowls the tough overs, he does not have the new ball in hand, and you are going to get hit at times but he is a smart guy and for him to bowl like that and close the game was fantastic. He bowled well in the Delhi game too and once Josh is back we will have a new bowling unit."

RCB's next challenge would be against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) when they face each other on 26th April at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
