To the delight of cricket fans across the globe, the much-awaited T20I Tri-Series between Pakistan, Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates is all set to kick off on Friday, August 29. The series gives all participating teams a valuable opportunity to gain valuable game time ahead of the Asia Cup 2025. 

The Tri-Nation series will begin with a blockbuster opening encounter between Afghanistan and Pakistan on August 29. The tournament comprises seven matches, including the all-important final.

Three teams- Pakistan, Afghanistan and the hosts, United Arab Emirates, will participate in the upcoming Tri-Series event.

While Agha Salman will lead Pakistan, ace spinner Rashid Khan will play as Afghanistan's captain in the tournament. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates have yet to announce their squad for the home Tri-Series.
