Mumbai Indians (MI) got annihilated at the hands of Gujarat Titans (GT) as a 55-run defeat seems to have distorted their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 campaign.

The likes of Shubman Gill, David Miller, Abhinav Manohar and Rahul Tewatia contributed heavily in Gujarat's 207-run total as they exploited Mumbai's death bowling bottleneck as the latter conceded as many as 70 runs in the final four of the innings.

In a miserable batting showing, MI recorded their lowest total of the season. Rohit Sharma and Co. were never in the chase. The only silver lining for the side was Nehal Wadhera's 21-ball 40.
